View Full Version : Boycott Time?

So it seems to me that we need to actively hurt the WB where it counts.

Some people will never watch the WB again..some can't stop themselves. So maybe if the boycott was a little more direct in nature.

The first ANGEL episode that will actually matter to the WB is episode 10. It's the first week of the super important February sweeps period. This will be the third ep after ANGEL takes BIRDS OF PREY's timeslot.

If everyone can manage a walkout on this date, so to speak of course..and it gets organized enough that it spreads and is well known..it might send a direct message.

Anyone interested?

I don't watch the WB much anyway (BOP ... and that's it).

Not much of a sacrifice here. ;)

I don't watch Angel anyway. But lots of other will do. And most of them don't watch Birds of Prey.

Actually by the numbers there are a lot less ANGEL viewers than there are BOP ones. And luckily, there are a lot of really pissed off ANGEL viewers right now as well...

But that doesn't mean they're not going to watch it. I was pissed off when TV Land moved Batman reruns from 7 PM to 4 AM, but I still stay up every night and watch them anyway. So what if I only get two hours of sleep?

Pissed off as in they don't like the direction of the show [helpful for a ratings disaster] or pissed off because of the move [they will probably not shoot their own show. :P]?

I assumed he meant the move.

I mean the direction of the show.

It hasn't been a very sound season creatively for the show.

The move is almost expected...almost incidental. The WB has moved it from a night when it was doing not well but not horrendously and where it had at least a suitable genre lead in to being behind a fading romantic drama and against the hardest timeslot. Almost expected by the fans.

However some are deeply outraged by the direction the show is going in..

BTW..he is a she.

Oh. I don't automatically assume that everyone here is male; it's just I've never heard of any girls named Shawn.

's ok. My regular handle that I go by is The Godfather. So really, I don't exactly help my case along.
